At heart, the Edulight is a battery-powered LED reading lamp. The basic model has evolved to include table lamps and wall lamps. All can be configured with 1 W or 3W LED bulbs or with one of several types of fluorescent bulbs. An easy off grid lighting system can be assembled using Edulight lamps without batteries and the plug and play Glenergy Distribution box connected to a 12V solar system. Battery-powered units can be charged from 1W to 3W solar panels.
